NCBI Friends Campaign and Diversity Leaders Training

NCBI Friends Campaign

This year our major fundraising campaign consists of reaching out to our Friends. By becoming a Friend of NCBI or renewing your membership, your generous support will help to make it possible for the National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) to bring tools for dismantling fear, prejudice and violence to hundreds of young people and adults.

NCBI continues to be called upon by schools, public agencies and non-profit groups to build coalitions among diverse groups, to coach leaders, to find common ground in the midst of emotionally charged conflict, and to create respectful and welcoming environments where diversity of every kind can flourish. The work of NCBI is more important than ever, and that is why we are asking you to join or renew your membership today.

Make your Friends donation NOW and every dollar up to $200 will be matched by our Board.

Diversity Leaders Training

On November 14th and 15th we held our annual Diversity Leaders Training (DLT) for over 50 students, teachers, and staff from several high schools, including Marina, Seaside, Palma, Carmel, Millennium High Charter, as well as CSU Monterey Bay. The student leaders who joined us for the DLT at Marina High will now return to their schools and lead the Welcoming Diversity Training for their peers.

Our training caught the attention of the Monterey Herald, who published this article.
