2015 Monterey Gives
| Dear Friends and Supporters of NCBI, Hello and welcome! Some of you are longtime friends of NCBI and some of you are brand new to our circle, but you are all important to us and that is why we are contacting you today. We have launched our Monterey County Gives fundraising campaign to raise $2000 by December 31st, 2015. We will be using these funds to support a new project we’re calling “Recommitting to End Racism.” Following the killing of nine African Americans in Charleston and many other recent acts of racial violence, NCBI, with support from the NAACP, is committed to providing training to support the work of community members to fight racism and other forms of oppression. We will offer this series of workshops beginning early next year.
