Dear Friends of NCBI,
If you care about the environment and diversity,
here is a chance to help out both at the same time!
The Offset Project will lead 500 volunteers to assist in climate and waste diversion efforts at the AT&T Golf Tournament while supporting local non-profits like NCBI.
By representing NCBI as a volunteer, you will earn a $32.00 donation for every 4-hour volunteer shift at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
Available shifts are 8AM to 1PM or 1PM to 5PM
Monday through Friday
February 3rd – Feb 25th
(shifts are full on the weekends and Mon Feb 10th)
To Sign Up- Click on Sorting Schedule Sign Up Put NCBI in the shifts you available for (in order to edit the form, after you click on the link, look in the top left corner and click on “File”; select “Open with”; and choose “Google Sheets”) AND THEN…
- RSVP with your name, phone number and email and the just the names of any additional volunteers in your party to Steven Goings at sgoings@csumb.edu. If you have members under 18 in your group, please include their ages. We encourage you to carpool and we will try to assist with carpool arrangements.
- The Deadline for signing up is Monday Jan 13th but please sign-up TODAY to hold your spot!
The Offset Project will have sorting tables,
but please understand that this volunteer opportunity includes sorting trash
What to Wear
Please dress in your most comfortable, worn out clothing and very sturdy shoes. Please pack your own snacks and water. Work gloves will be provided.
Parking
All sorting teams volunteers will be able to park at 101 Drake. But we HIGHLY encourage carpooling. If you need assistance with carpooling other volunteers with NCBI will be able to assist you so please just let us know.
