Great News and MLK Day March 2017

Thanks to you, WE DID IT! We surpassed our fundraising goal of $3000 for our 2017 Monterey County Gives! Big Idea, CommUNITY Conversations, raising a total of $3460. Read more about this project in our most recent newsletter.
Thank you to all of our supporters, and please stay tuned to learn how you can participate in these workshops and discussions where people from diverse backgrounds will come together and discover common ground on difficult issues. We also look forward to a culminating celebration and resource fair later this year.
NCBI would also like to invite our friends to walk with NCBI in this year’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day March.
WHAT: Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day March in Seaside
WHEN: Monday, January 16th at noon (plan to arrive by 11:30am)
WHERE: The march begins on the corner of Broadway and Noche Buena and ends at Oldemeyer Center; find NCBI with our red banner

    I am thrilled by what you wrote. I agree with you completely. I’m at old white guy, but I grew up a lot in Washington DC, going to an elite Catholic high School near the capitol. I have seen how it is enough. I can envision how it could be. I just needed to recognize the truth in what you wrote. Thank you.
